I have said it before and I will say it again. While G-D uses people most often to accomplish His will, it is G-D doing the “saving” through the person, not the person him/herself doing the saving. People are the instruments. G-D is the musician. People are also fallable and imperfect. G-D is not either one.
Also, there are the plans and expectations of people, but it is G-D’s plans that matter. Yes, we make plans. It would be foolhardy not to. But it is imperative we are making plans according to G-D’s will, not our own.
Too often, we are looking to people to “save” us or to “save” the situation. Well, that person “may” be instrumental in the situation. But it should always be G-D who gets the glory and credit and we need to be careful to not expect things to go only the way we want. Sometimes, G-D wants something different than what we want. And, sometimes, the goal is the same, but the route to get there is different than we thought.
When things go differently than we expect, we need to always seek Creator G-D first. Ask Him what is going on. Ask Him to open our eyes and hearts. We must also be patient, trusting He knows what is best and He is working out His plans.
Do we trust Him to do what is best and right and good? Or do we only want what we want? Are we willing to accept the route to what is best may be filled with some trials and hardships? Or are we only willing to accept an easy route? Are we going to stick it out? Or are we going to bail and allow our faith to dwindle?
G-d is not interested in our comfort, although He is interested in our well-being. Sometimes, for us to get to well-being, we need to go through some hard things. Or, sometimes, we need to go through some hard things because our neighbor or loved one needs to go through them and so we have to go through it, too.
Keep the faith. Keep trusting G-D. He has a plan. All will come together as it is supposed to when it is supposed to.
Sending love and hugs to all. May you all be blessed with His Shalom.
