What a journey!

There is a Rabbi/teacher we like to listen to who lives in Israel. He teaches there in Hebrew, but he also makes teachings in English while traveling around the world to teach many different people groups. With the help of translators, his teachings are reaching many more people than just Hebrew and English speakers!

His name is Rabbi Baruch Korman. His wife, Rivka, does a blog called Love Israel Connection. You can find it here: https://loveisraelconnection.wordpress.com

One of the things we really love about Rabbi Baruch is that he really opens the scriptures up to us. He knows both Hebrew and Greek intimately and teaches directly from them without need of a translation. Wow! He knows the scriptures, the sages, the history, the context of the scriptures. He is also the only one I have heard teach on Revelation in a way that makes total sense to me and I love that, although I did not understand a lot of the symbolism, there are things that I did have correct!

Rivka writes about their travels and adventures. When we saw he was coming, somewhat, to our area we thought we might be able to actually meet them both in person! Although it was over two hours away, we started making plans. Oh, what a delight and honor it was to be able to go and meet them both and to hear Baruch speak…not just once, but twice! It was a memorable occasion!
