Very good thoughts here. I know I have really been focusing on eating to live…not living to eat. I want to be responsible and take good care of this body my Creator has blessed to me.

While in the States, I had at least four different conversations with people about food, the world’s food supply, healthy eating, exercise, etc. I have been thinking about it since I got back and then some ideas started to formulate in my mind.
Why are believers against smoking? (We should be!) Isn’t one of the reasons because our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit? (I Corinthians 16:19-20) We were bought with a price and we are to therefore honor G-d with our bodies.
We should not expose our bodies carelessly to things which are bad for it, nor succumb to any form of lust of the flesh. To sin against our bodies is a very serious offense.
