The Promised One

Thank You, Abba, for sending us the Promised One.

Thank You for sending Him to show us how to walk in Your ways.

Thank You for sending Him to remind us of what You were already telling us…that it is not merely about obedience to Your laws. It is about being in a love relationship with You.

Everything we do should be based upon respecting who and what You are, upon receiving Your love for us and upon loving You for it.

Help us to be grateful.

Help us to put You in the center of all we think and do.

Help us to truly bring You joy as a loving Father looks with joy upon His children.

Help us to always remember that Your love for us is not based upon performance…it is based upon relationship. Our “performance”…our obedience…should be based upon relationship and gratitude. It is to be an expression of our love for You.

Obedience without a love relationship produces a coldness and bondage of the heart and gains us nothing spiritually.

Love without obedience leads to licentiousness and, ultimately, bondage.

Love with obedience…obedience that flows from love…gives us true freedom, inner joy and shalom/wholeness/peace.

Thank You, Abba, for who You are, for what You are (our Creator) and for sending us the Promised One (Yeshua) to show us Yourself in a clearer way.

About Abigail

I am a woman who loves life and loves to see others love life, too. I love and serve the Creator, the God of the Bible...the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Because of what the Creator has done in my life, I am here to help others now. I hope we can journey together!
