What if you knew this was your last day…your last set of breaths on this earth? What would you do? I addressed some of this in the previous post, but this is another side to things. In the previous post, I looked at what you would leave behind in the memories of those you know and what you would do with your belongings.
But what about the things you do not leave behind? What about your spirit? What comes after this life here? Do you know? Have you really given it serious thought? Isn’t it important to know?
We plan for many things in this life, but for the most important trip…the most important event of our life…we oftentimes do nothing. Why is that? Are we afraid to look at it? If that is the case, then it is all the more important TO look at. Our fear is an indicator that we DO believe something comes next. Something inside us knows there is more after this life here.
Please, I encourage you to check out information about the most important journey you will ever take. There is a Creator out there. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you! I use the male pronoun for convenience. He is actually Spirit, both male and female, but we don’t have a pronoun to reflect that.
I have a relationship with my Creator. It is amazing. I know Him as the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. There is a lot of misunderstandings about the G-d of the bible due to poor translations and taking the words out of context. It is important to understand the culture and language (including idioms and expressions and writing styles) of the authors.
But here is the thing. Our Creator loves us so much that He did reveal Himself to us and even came down for a time to live among us as one of us. He lived among us as Yeshua aka Jesus. Yeshua is His Jewish name and what His mama would have called Him. “Jesus” is what you call a transliteration of His Jewish name after it transitioned through more than one language translation. You can call Him either one. He knows who you are and that you are reaching out to Him.
Our Creator also promises to reveal Himself to those who seek Him. He has left evidence behind in the vastness and wonder of the universe and the exactness of the way things are so that life can exist on our planet.
Seek Him. Cry out to Him. Please do not approach the most important journey of your life with no preparation!
