Here I am…back again. I am always thankful and I am trying to write about it more.
We had friends here from out of town. They came two days ago and left this morning. What a blessed time to be able to catch up with them.
The first night, we celebrated Erev Yom Teruah…the Feast of Trumpets…Rosh Hoshanah. We opened with Steve blowing the shofar. Oh, I would SO love to have a shofar to blow over our neighborhood every Shabbat…to announce the presence of the L-rd in our community!
We followed with the candle lighting and a wonderful time of fellowship at the table over dinner with challah.
The next day we spent visiting and, in the evening, some other dear friends came over. We were blessed to hear Steve play the harp he had made and share about how he has connected the Hebrew letters in the alef bet to create melodies for the Psalms. Of course, that is the simplest way to explain it. He went into much more detail last night, while still leaving out the greatest details since it would have taken hours to explain.
They also explained about how certain frequencies of music have a healing affect on the body. Steve’s harp is tuned to the 528 mghz frequency and his newer CD’s are all recorded in that frequency. They have heard from people who have experience healing from listening to his music and Shirley has experienced healing from using someone’s 528 tuning fork.
Abba is good and there are SO many things about His creation that we have yet to learn. It is really nice to be able to learn with good friends!
It is always a blessing to have Steve and Shirley of Peregrinnatti come by and always a bit hard to see them leave. But I would not trade those few days and hours. They are precious spiritual family and the time spent with them is treasured. It is almost hard to believe that we met them over a decade ago. Wow!
Thank you, Steve and Shirley, for blessing us with your friendship and with your time. We look forward to the next time!
