Shabbat Prayer — Dear Abba

10100- 6x2.25 copyShalom! Let us seek the Light of Yeshua together! 🙂  Abigail

Dear Abba,
I praise You and I thank You
for always being there,
even when the world can seem to be
so dark.

Thank You for Your example
of a loving parent.
You discipline us
and You love us
unconditionally.

It is SO hard as a parent to see any of my children
not walking in Your ways.
How much harder it must be for You
to see YOUR children
not walking in Your ways.

Abba,
it makes me think…
how many times have I
not walked in Your ways
in the past?

How many times do I still
not walk in Your ways,
whether out of ignorance
or willfulness?
(I pray it is never the latter!)

Abba,
I thank You that You never give up
on any of us.

May I be that kind of person…
one who never gives up
on another.

I know there are times
when we must walk away.
but give up?
NEVER!

I ask, dear Abba,
that You make me,
and all who are receiving this,
into the men and women
You have created us to be.

May we be good sons and daughters.
May we be good siblings.
May we be good parents.
May we be good spouses.
May we be good friends.
May we be good workers.
May we be good citizens and members of our communities.
May we be Salt and Light in the darkness.
May we be warriors in Your kingdom for good.
May we bring down evil in all its forms.

May we love YOU,
with all our hearts,
all our souls,
all our minds
and all our strengths!

May we show it by also loving You
with all our resources.

May we love our neighbors as ourselves
may we love one another.

May each one receiving this
be blessed beyond measure.
May each one receive healing in every area
and provision for every need.
May their eyes be opened to see
Your amazing love
and Your grace and mercy.

B’shem Yeshua
