Shabbat Prayer — My Shepherd — Anointing and Overflowing

Prayer Through Psalm 23
Walking with our Shepherd

Psalm 23-5b

Anointing.Cleansing.Purifying.

Refreshing.

Raising up.

What an image.

Oil overflowing from the cup of anointing.

Filling us with Your Ruach…
Your Spirit.

Thank You, Abba, for anointing me.
Thank You for filling me with Yourself.
Thank You for marking me as Your own.
Thank You for setting me apart from the world.
Thank You for the healing that anointing with oil brings.
Thank You for the protection that anointing with oil brings.
Thank You for the tender care that it expresses.
Thank You for the love that it expresses.
Thank You for Your presence.
Thank You for Your touch.
Thank You.

ADONAI Roi.
The L-rd is my Shepherd
and He anoints my head with oil
from an overflowing cup.

I am His lamb.
I am His child.
I am His bride.

Thank You for all You are
and all You do, Abba!
B’shem Yeshua

This one was sung on the High Holy Days 2008-2010 at Temple Sinai, Atlanta GA.
I do not know the name of the artist or the composer of the music.
