Shabbat Prayer — My Shepherd — Guidance and His Name

Prayer Through Psalm 23
Walking with our Shepherd

I hope my journey through Psalm 23 is blessing you and that the L-rd is speaking to you through it.

Psalm 23-3b

ADONAI…it is so easy for me
to leave Your path for me
and take little rabbit trails
that distract me
from Your
purpose
for me.

I am thankful that
You keep guiding me
and leading me
back onto Your path
and into Your ways.

You are Faithful
even when I am
unfaithful.

Paths…
they wind through valleys
and over mountains,
along rivers
and on the edge of cliffs.

You take me places
I would never even dream of.
You show me beauty that
only You even know about.

Paths…
on dirt
and gravel
with bushes
and flowers
leading to my
home with You
forever.

Paths…
where there are
journeys,
adventures
and excitement,
trials,
hardships
and growing.

Paths…
some are painful,
some are joyful,
Some are long,
some are short.

YOU are on each one!
I am NEVER alone!
I can count on
Your Name
for You guard
Your Name.

Thank You for
loving me,
walking with me,
filling me,
changing me,
healing me,
using me,
maturing me,
and for
helping me to love You
and to love others.

Blessed be Your holy Name.
Baruch Hashem Kadosh.

B’shem Yeshua

This week’s link is to a Hebrew version of Psalm 23.
It is sung by Susan Colin on her Prayer of the Heart CD.
I believe the music is by Gerald Cohen:
