Shabbat Prayer — Seeking the Light of the World

Abba…it is during this time of year that we especially think of
the Or HaOlam…
the Light of the world…
Your Son Yeshua
whom You sent to us.May our hearts be open to receiving Your Light fully.

May there be no places of darkness within us
for we know that
darkness and Light cannot co-mingle.

May Your Light expose every bit of evil
in our hearts.

May it dispel every
bit of the darkness of sin still remaining.

May we be fully dedicated to You.

During this Feast of Dedication
may we dedicate ourselves anew to You
in every area of our lives
in everything we think
and everything we do.

Abba, there is so much darkness in our world.
May we bring Your Light to the people
who live in that darkness.
May we bring Your hope to them.

Thank You for all that You have done for us,
so much more than we deserve!

Thank You for the gift of Your Ruach
who dwells within us.

Thank You for the work of Yeshua
who makes that gift of the Ruach possible.

Thank You for reaching out to us
in spite of our rebellious ways
so that we can live and walk
in Your love.

Help us to love you with
all of our hearts,
all of our souls,
all of our minds
and all of our strengths.

Help us to love our
neighbors as ourselves
and one another.

Baruch HaShem, Adonai, Eloheinu!
Blessed are You, O L-rd, our G-d!

Fill us with Your healing Shalom.

B’shem Yeshua

Shabbat Shalom!

Chag Chanukah Sameach!
Have a joyous Chanukah festival!
