Shabbat Shalom – Changes

Abba…some of us just went through an election
and some of us are facing an election in a few months.

Help us to always remember that our earthly citizenship
is secondary to our citizenship in Yeshua’s kingdom.

May we not be discouraged as we see the things that are
happening all around us.

May we keep our eyes fixed upon You!

May we do all we can to be salt and light
and trust You for the results.

I do not know what is coming for Israel,
or for the other nations,
but here in America the hearts of the people have been exposed.

We have fallen far from You and Your ways.
Many of us have not been the salt and light
You call us to be.

Many of us have not been submitting to the governmental authorities
by refusing to obey the Constitutional mandate to be involved and at least vote.

Many in our once great nation want nothing to do with You
or with Your ways.

Israel is largely a secular nation,
but we are seeing signs of her turning back toward You,
slowly but surely.
Please watch over her elections
and raise up righteous leaders
who put You first.
Please remove those who will
not follow You.

Other nations represented here
also need Your watchful eye
and help.
Please raise up righteous leaders
who will point their people
to You.

Each of our nations needs You.
And, in each of our nations,
we need to serve You
and do what we can to be a good influence,
sharing the Way,
the Truth
and the Life.

We need to expose deeds of darkness
and even expose them.

Help us to love You with
all our hearts,
all our souls,
all our minds
and all our strengths.

Help us to love
our neighbors as ourselves
and to love one another.

Help us to stand strong,
without fear,
for we know Who we serve
and we have confidence in You!

b’shem Yeshua

  1. Jackie Holden says:

Tim Rogers told me today the man who organised the suicide plays for children hanged himself today. It’s not been reported on the news yet but when it is I will let you read the story. We were fasting and praying today about the suicide plays being shown to children. Thus far 79 children and young people have committed suicide in South Wales, 78 hanged themselves. A lot of suicides aren’t being reported in the media because of copycats.

We would love to hear your thoughts...
