Shabbat Prayer — When you ascend

Abba…some day You are going to call us to ascend to Your presence.

The trump will sound.
The dead will rise.
We will be joined together and go to be with You forever.

May we be ready, Abba.
May our hearts be pure
and may our lives be lived in obedience to Your teachings.

May we be faithful to You
as You are faithful to us.

I praise You, Abba, that our fleshly natures
from which You have delivered us
will be finally completely done away with.

I praise You that hasatan will be locked away forever
and sin will be no more.

May we desire You above all else.
May we love You above anyone else.
May there be no idols in our lives.
May no evil speech come out of our hearts.
May we love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
May we love one another.

Teach us, Abba, how to love You
with all of our hearts,
all of our souls,
all of our minds,
all of our strengths.

Teach us, Abba, how to love our neighbors.

Teach us, Abba, how to love each other.

May we unite in Yeshua
as a perfect Bride
ready for her Groom.

May we be watching for Yeshua’s return,
ever ready,
being diligent to be about the work of Your kingdom.

May we be faithful to give
that cup of water,
that food,
that clothing,
that visit,
that encouraging word
to all who need it.

May we open our hearts and homes
to those who have no home.

Remove from us all greed
and selfishness.

Purify us, Abba!
Sanctify us!

Bring Your Shalom
to Yerushalayim,
to Israel,
to Your people.

Open the eyes of Your Chosen Ones, Abba,
to see the truth about Mashiach.
May they embrace Him and
return to You.

May Your land be filled with a people
who worship You and You alone.
We praise You and marvel as You bring
all Your people back home
from the four corners of the world.

Thank You for the ingrafting of the Gentiles!
May we who are Gentile always appreciate
what we have been grafted into
and may we always remember that
we are branches, not the stump.

b’shem Yeshua

Amen to this prayer Abigail. I prayed for you, Dave and Elias when you came into my thoughts earlier. I just asked the Lord to take care of you all, and to provide all that you need for your daily living.
