Shabbat Prayer — Make an Accounting

Abba…someday You will call us to make an accounting for our lives.

We will have to answer for whether we:
lived for You…or for ourselves,
obeyed Your Torah/teachings…or lived our own way,
used what You gave us wisely…or frittered it away,
put You first…or had idols in our lives,
loved others as ourselves…or loved ourselves more,
used our lives to bring honor to You…or to ourselves,
credited You for all good things…or bragged about “our” accomplishments,
recognized You as our Creator and Owner…or lived as if we were “god”,
gave of ourselves to the needs of others…or only sought what we could gain,
gave our lives…or clung to them,
forgave others…or held grudges.

Abba, I find it amazing
that You continue to love us in spite of our
bad behaviors,
lustful hearts,
attention seeking,
and every other way we spit on Your teachings.

Abba, may we love You above all else.
May we love You with
all of our hearts,
all of our souls,
all of our minds,
all of our strengths.

May we love
our neighbors as ourselves
and our siblings in Yeshua.

May everything we
and say
glorify You and
lift You up to those around us.

May we be filled with Your Light,
and with Your Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit
so that we will shine
Your Light and Truth
to a people living in darkness.

May we be servants of
and restoration.

May we help to
set captives free and
bring Your Shalom
to all who need it.

May we be Your

We are Yours!
Sanctify us, oh Adonai!
Purify us now!
Make us into
the perfect Bride of Yeshua!

b’shem Yeshua
