Shabbat Shalom – In My Statutes

Abba…You have given us Your statutes for our good.

You teach us right from wrong.

You teach us how to live.

Even more, Yeshua came to SHOW us how to live
and how to understand Your heart in the statutes
versus man’s unnecessary addons.

You give us these things so that we can be blessed
and when we fail to keep them You discipline us
just as any loving Abba would do.

Help us, Abba,
to accept Your statutes as coming from Your heart of love,
to accept Your discipline as loving training,
to recognize that You truly do want to bless us,
to understand that You do not want to curse us.

Abba, we do understand that Your statutes do not gain us heaven.
Rather, they teach us how we should live here in this world.

Just as any parent creates rules
as loving boundaries for their children,
so You do the same.

Help us not to chafe against what You tell us and show us.
Help us to live in Your ways,
to obey You,
to love You,
to receive Your blessings.

Thank You for the greatest blessing of all…
salvation in Yeshua haMashiach.
Thank You for Your Torah that pointed to Him.
Thank You that He, as the living Torah,
came and showed us how to discern and how to live
according to Your Torah.

Abba, we deserve nothing good,
yet You have chosen to bless us
with the joy of Your salvation
and Your boundless love.

Help us to love You with
all our hearts,
all our souls,
all our minds,
all our strengths.

Help us to love
our neighbors as our ourselves
and one another.

Help us to shine Your light
to a darkened world.

Help us to reach all those who do not yet know You and Your Son,
both the Hebrew people
and the non-Hebrew people.

B’shem Yeshua
our Salvation
