The Proper Cleaning of Kitchen Knives

These beauties…

…should NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER be put in here:

unless, of course, you want to see red stuff in the water.

I like my knives to be properly sharpened. Dave has tried to teach me how to sharpen them, but it is only really since moving into the house that I have actually gotten it down. So now, I have knives that allow me to cut meat without a fight. Woohoo!

With those sharp knives, though, comes extra care in cleaning them. NEVER, EVER put them in the sink! I have found that just lightly bumping into the blade can cut a few layers of skin.

Sharpen your knives. Clean your knives. Be safe!
