Shabbat Shalom – Come

Abba…You told Moshe to come to Egypt to lead Your people to freedom. I love that word “come” for it shows that You were there with them in Egypt just as You were there with Moshe on the mountain.

Abba, You are everywhere, with all of Your people, no matter where they are or what kind of bondage they are experiencing.

Abba, may we be listening for Your voice…both to go to the ones in bondage to lead them out and to be led out of any bondages we may be experiencing.

May our eyes be opened, Abba, to see the bondages all around us and within us.

May we see the nets and snares in which so many are caught.

May we see where the adversary has any of us bound…perhaps in ways of which we are completely unaware!

Abba, when we see others around us in bondage, may we be a part of setting them free!

Please…put Your hand upon our hearts that we may NEVER condemn those in bondage.

Rather, may we reach out to them in love and do whatever it takes to help them become free!

Help us, Abba, to love with Your love,
to see with Your eyes,
to hear with Your ears,
to perceive with Your heart,
to understand with Your wisdom.May we serve others with Your hands.
May we go to them and walk alongside them with Your feet.
May we hold them and comfort them with Your arms.

May we bring Your freedom,
Your heart,
Your compassion,
Your provision,
Your strength.

May we hold up those who are weak.
May we feed those who are hungry.
May we give drink to those who are thirsty.
May we clothe those who are naked.
May we give shelter to those who have none.
May we love the “unlovely”.
May we visit the lonely
and the sick
and the prisoners of all kinds.

May we see You in those who have needs…
for You surely love them ALL!
