Shabbat Shalom July 30, 2011 / 28 Tammuz, 5771

Abba, I praise You and I thank You for the gift You have given us of Yourself and of Your Word…both the written and the Living! You speak to our hearts and spirits in so many ways…if we will just watch and listen. Please open our eyes and our hearts to see You…to hear You…to know You…to love You.

Abba, I lift up my heart to You. I lift up my hands to You. I offer my self as a living sacrifice to You. Please use me in any way possible for the work of Your kingdom.

Abba, I lift up Your people to You. They/we need You. Please send Your protection! The ones who are most active and diligently working for You are the ones most likely to be attacked by hasatan. Protect them and their families, please, Abba. Do not allow the evil one to rob them of their finances, their health, their peace of mind.

We know, Abba, that trials come as a result of serving You and being Your children. Yeshua told us we would have trials and tribulations in this world. He also told us that He had overcome the world. Help us, Abba, to follow His lead and be overcomers, too.

Fill us with Your wisdom, Your strength and Your healing Shalom. Help us to show mercy and compassion to others as You have shown mercy and compassion toward us!

Abba, please forgive us when we stray. Please keep our feet on the path You have chosen for us. May our hearts be fully surrendered to You. May our hearts be completely in love with You. May Your name be glorified in our lives…in our thoughts, words and actions. May we live up to the name You have given us!

Please cause those who teach and those who lead to stick to the Truth. Many, Abba, have fallen into false teachings. They preach a false gospel. Please keep Your leaders and teachers steadfast in the Truth and do not allow Your people to be swayed into doctrines of demons.

Abba, I pray that You would restore true body ministry. Raise up a people who will minister to one another as You describe in Your Word. Open our eyes to the false positions we have created that put people on pedestals which sets them up to fall. Remove the wall of separation that exists in Your body between groups of people…those who “minister” and those who do not…those who “lead” and those who do not. Help us to understand what are merely traditions of men and what is truly of You. Help us to sift through what we do, keeping what encourages body ministry and walking in Your Ruach/Spirit and getting rid of what hinders those things.

Abba, as we draw closer and closer to Yeshua’s return, may we be found faithful. May we be found doing our Master’s “business”. May we love You through those around us.

b’shem Yeshua
